Saturday, August 29...5:45am

Good Morning!

Well, as to the suggestion of one of my friends...I've set up this blog for our friends and family to follow during our next adventure...Tanner's surgery! YIKES! Someone mentioned..."I'm surprised you're sleeping at all!" Well, I'm not now! It's early, but I'm enjoy the quiet and the open windows and fresh air.

Today is Mark's 41st birthday. YEA! Never thought I'd be married to an "old" man! HAHA! Really, I find it very comforting. We've been married 11 years now...and I still find him my rock. Especially now. Last night we were just bumping into each other, tired, trying to find things to organized before we leave next week. And then relax...(really? remember when?) I feel bad we don't have party plans...but we celebrated with his family last weekend and I think he's going to try to go fishing with the older 2 kids this afternoon. He'll have fun and recharge.

Okay...on to the important stuff (heehee)...Mark is taking the next 2 weeks off. His mom, Barbara arrives Monday afternoon (31st) to go with me to see how to do afternoon pick-up from school. Then, Mark, Tanner, and I take off to spend the night in the city. Our registration is at 6:45am, so we decided it would be better to sleep in San Francisco. Tuesday is the Cathetor procedure, Wednesday is pre-op, and Thursday is surgery. Many of you have asked how long the surgery is....I will find out and post here.

I hope this blog works...we have so much support here at home and we couldn't be so strong without it. We consider all of you family and want to keep you updated on our newest "adventure".
